How do a Brother MFC-7440n toner cartridge?
- Open your printer’s front cover.
- Take out the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly slowly. Pull the drum unit towards you, then lift it.
- Removed the used toner cartridge by pushing the green lock lever down.
- Get your new CompAndSave Brother 7440N toner cartridge. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case of powder leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the toner cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Insert the Brother toner MFC-7440N into the drum unit until it snaps into place.
- Slide the green tab side to side repeatedly to clean the corona wire within the drum unit.
- Put back the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly into your printer. Close the front cover.
