How to Install Xerox WorkCentre 4118P Toner Cartridges?

  1. Open the printer's side cover by pulling the release latch. Open the printer's front cover as well.
  2. Turn the lock lever to unlock position, then carefully pull the toner cartridge out from the printer.
  3. Get your new CompAndSave Xerox WorkCentre 4118P printer toner cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Shake the toner cartridge for about five to six times and avoid touching the bottom part of the toner. Then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color, as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  4. Insert the new toner cartridge into the slot until it is firmly seated in place. Turn the lock lever back to locked position.
  5. Close the front and the side cover.

Xerox WorkCentre 4118P Toner Cartridges FAQ's

How do you know if your toner cartridge is empty?
Most of the time, a message on your printer's control panel will appear, letting you know that the toner cartridge is about to be empty or already empty. Another indication is when you are no longer getting a solid or good print quality, you will notice uneven or smears on the printout. When this happens, you may order your new toner cartridge at CompAndSave. Our toner cartridges are designed to match the print quality and the number of printouts of the original Xerox toner cartridges but at a very affordable price.
Does toner last longer than ink?
In terms of longevity, toners are designed to last longer than regular ink. Since toners are designed for laser printers, they can produce more images and prints compared to the inkjet type of printer. Usually, toner also has a longer shelf life than regular ink since they are powder based and do not dry out.
