How to Install Ricoh FAX 1130L Toner Cartridges?
- Open the printer's front cover and leave it on for at least ten minutes to let it cool down.
- Carefully pull the drum unit and the toner cartridge out from the printer.
- Press down the lock lever, which is usually green in color, to release the toner cartridge from the drum unit. Then remove the toner from the drum unit.
- Get your new CompAndSave Ricoh FAX 1130L printer toner cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Gently shake the toner cartridge and avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Carefully align and insert the new toner cartridge into the drum unit until it snaps lock into place. Slide the blue tab back and forth several times to clean the corona wire.
- Insert the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly back into the printer, then close the front cover.
