How to Install Ricoh Aficio SP 3500N Toner Cartridges?

  1. Make sure that there is no paper loaded and the bypass tray is closed.
  2. Open the printer's front cover by pressing the cover release button on the side of the printer.
  3. Grab the toner cartridge that needs to be replaced, then carefully pull it out from the printer.
  4. Get your new CompAndSave Ricoh SP 3500N toner cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Shake the toner cartridge for about five to six times and avoid touching the bottom part of the toner. Then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  5. Insert the new toner cartridge back into the printer until it stops. Then slightly raise the toner to insert it all the way in, and push down the cartridge until it snaps lock into place.
  6. Close the printer's front cover.

Ricoh Aficio SP 3500N Toner Cartridges FAQ's

When should I replace toner cartridge?
Even before a depletion ink warning shows on your printer's or computer's display, you'll notice that your toner is nearing the end of its usable life if it creates streaked, smeared, or faded lines that won't go away even after you've cleaned the print heads. If this happens, you may get new toner cartridges from CompAndSave. Our toner cartridges are designed to meet or exceed the OEM specifications. This means that you can get the same print quality and number of prints without paying as much.
What is the difference between compatible and OEM cartridges?
OEM or Original Equipment Manufactured cartridges are toner cartridges that are made by the same company that manufactured the printer. Compatible toners cartridges, on the other hand, are produced and filled by third-party companies. The parts used are brand new and are not recycled from OEM toner cartridges. The same procedure applies to compatible ink cartridges. Both provide the same quality of printouts, but the compatibles may surpass the OEM and are sold at a much lower price.
