How to Install Ricoh SP 1200SF Toner Cartridges?

  1. Open the printer's front cover.
  2. Carefully pull the toner cartridge and the drum unit assembly out from the printer.
  3. Remove the toner cartridge out from the drum unit assembly by pressing the green lock lever.
  4. Get your new CompAndSave Ricoh Aficio SP 1200SF toner cartridge, open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  5. Carefully align and insert the new toner cartridge into the drum unit until it snaps lock into place. Slide the blue tab back and forth for several times to clean the corona wire.
  6. Insert the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly back into the printer.
  7. Close the printer's front cover.
