Okidata C610n Toner Cartridge Replacement Guide
- Open the printer's top cover by pressing the cover release button.
- Pull the lever of the toner cartridge that needs to be replaced to release it, then pull the cartridge out from the printer.
- Clean the toner top part of the ID unit with a clean and lint-free cloth.
- Get your new CompAndSave Okidata C610n cartridges. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Shake the toner cartridge five to six times and avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color, as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Align and insert the left part of the new toner cartridge first, push it against the spring then lower the right part. Then, gently push down the cartridge until it is firmly seated in place.
- Turn the lock lever back to its original position to secure the cartridge.
- Close the printer's top cover.
