Oki C532dn Toner Cartridge Replacement Guide
- Press the cover release button, then fully open the output tray.
- Release the toner cartridge that needs to be replaced by turning the blue lever in your direction. Carefully lift the toner cartridge at the right side, then pull it out of the printer.
- Get your new CompAndSave Okidata C532dn toner cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Shake the toner cartridge five to six times and avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Carefully align and insert the new toner cartridge to its left side first, then insert the right side.
- Once the cartridge is firmly seated in place, turn the blue lock lever back to its original position.
- Close the printer's output tray.

Do laser toners dry out?
Toner cartridges are powder-based and not liquid-based. This means that they do not dry out as the powder inside is already dry. But if a toner cartridge was not used for a long time, there's a possibility that the toner powder is not evenly distributed inside. This can cause uneven prints and smudges. To resolve this issue, you may shake the toner cartridge sideways to distribute the toner powder evenly.
