How to Install Oki B512 Toner Cartridges?

  1. Open the printer's top cover by pressing the 'Open' button.
  2. Turn the lock lever to unlock position to release the toner, then pull it out from the printer.
  3. Get your new CompAndSave toner Oki B512 cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Shake the toner cartridge and avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  4. Carefully align and insert the new toner cartridge to the imaging drum, then put the lock lever back to its original to secure the cartridge.
  5. Close the printer's top cover.

Oki B512 Toner Cartridges FAQ

How do I know if my ink cartridge is empty?
Even before a depletion ink warning shows on your printer's or computer's display, you'll notice that your toner is nearing the end of its usable life if it creates streaked, smeared, or faded lines that won't go away even after you've cleaned the print heads. If this happens, you may get new toner cartridges from CompAndSave. Our toner cartridges are designed to meet or exceed the OEM specifications. This means that you can get the same print quality and number of prints without paying as much.
How do I know what toner cartridge I have?
To know what type of toner cartridge you have or the type your printer needs, you may check the manual that came with the printer and look for supplies. You may also check the existing cartridge you have. Somewhere in front or on the back should be a label or sticker with the model number. This model number is usually a combination of alphanumeric characters. For example, the Oki B512 printer uses the toner that has the model code of Okidata 45807101 and 45807105.
