How to Install Oki B410 Toner Cartridges?

  1. Turn off the printer and let it cool for ten minutes.
  2. Open the printer's top cover by pressing the cover release button.
  3. Turn the lock lever to unlock position to release the cartridge, then carefully pull the toner cartridge out from the printer.
  4. Get your new CompAndSave Okidata B410 toner cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Gently shake the toner cartridge and avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  5. Carefully align and insert the new toner cartridge into the slot, left side first. Turn the lock lever back to the locked position to secure the cartridge.
  6. Close the printer's top cover.

Oki B410 Toner Cartridges FAQ

Are cheap toner cartridges worth it?
Absolutely! These toner cartridges are not only manufactured for consumers to save money, but also they are designed to match the OEM specifications. This means that you can get the same print quality and the number of prints without paying as much compared to the original ones. Using these types of cartridges will not void your printer's warranty, so you can use and shop for these types of cartridges without any worries.
What is the difference between compatible and OEM cartridges?
OEM or Original Equipment Manufactured cartridges are toner cartridges that are made by the same company that manufactured the printer. Compatible toners cartridges, on the other hand, are produced and filled by third-party companies. The parts used are brand new and are not recycled from OEM toner cartridges. The same procedure applies to compatible ink cartridges. Both provide the same quality of printouts, but the compatibles may surpass the OEM and are sold at a much lower price.
