How to Install Oki MB471 Toner Cartridges?

  1. Open the printer's top cover.
  2. Turn the lock lever to unlock position to release the toner, then carefully pull the toner cartridge out from the printer.
  3. Get your new CompAndSave Okidata MB471 toner cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Gently shake the toner cartridge and avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  4. Carefully align and insert the new toner cartridge into the slot. Turn the lock lever back to its original position to secure the cartridge.
  5. Close the printer's top cover.

Oki MB471 Toner Cartridges FAQ's

Does using compatible toner damage printer?
No it doesn't. CompAndSave's compatible cartridges are engineered to be as comparable as the OEM cartridges. This means that the size, quality, and the number of prints are designed to be as good as the original cartridges. Also, using compatible cartridges will never void your printer's warranty, so you can shop and use our cartridges without any worries.
What is the difference between compatible and OEM cartridges?
OEM or Original Equipment Manufactured cartridges are toner cartridges that are made by the same company that manufactured the printer. Compatible toners cartridges, on the other hand, are produced and filled by third-party companies. The parts used are brand new and are not recycled from OEM toner cartridges. The same procedure applies to compatible ink cartridges. Both provide the same quality of printouts but the compatibles may surpass the OEM and are sold at a much lower price.
