How to Install Okidata B4600n PS Toner Cartridges?

  1. Open the printer's top cover by pressing the cover release button.
  2. Turn the lock lever to unlock position to release the toner, then carefully pull the toner cartridge out from the printer.
  3. Get your new CompAndSave Oki B4600n PS toner cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Gently shake the toner cartridge and avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  4. Carefully align and insert the new toner cartridge into the slot. Turn the lock lever back to its original position to secure the cartridge.
  5. Close the printer's top cover.

Okidata B4600n PS Toner Cartridges FAQ's

When should I replace toner cartridge?
Even before a depletion ink warning shows on your printer's or computer's display, you'll notice that your toner is nearing the end of its usable life if it creates streaked, smeared, or faded lines that won't go away even after you've cleaned the print heads. If this happens, you may get new toner cartridges from CompAndSave. Our toner cartridges are designed to meet or exceed the OEM specifications. This means that you can get the same print quality and number of prints without paying as much.
What is the difference between compatible and OEM cartridges?
OEM or Original Equipment Manufactured cartridges are toner cartridges that are made by the same company that manufactured the printer. Compatible toners cartridges, on the other hand, are produced and filled by third-party companies. The parts used are brand new and are not recycled from OEM toner cartridges. The same procedure applies to compatible ink cartridges. Both provide the same quality of printouts, but the compatibles may surpass the OEM and are sold at a much lower price.
