How do I install Lexmark X5070 ink cartridges?
- Turn on your printer.
- Raise the cartridge door by pulling up on the control panel. Wait for the carriage to come to a complete halt.
- To remove the used cartridge, press down on the cartridge carrier clasp to raise the cartridge carrier lid.
- Get your new CompAndSave Lexmark X5070 cartridge. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Insert the new ink cartridges into their appropriate slots in the carrier.
- Close the color cartridge carrier lid and the cartridge access door.
