How do I install Lexmark Intuition S505 ink cartridges?
- To expose the print head, lift the scanner bed.
- Press the button on the front of the cartridge frame. Lift the frame to access the ink cartridges.
- Remove the used ink cartridges by pressing the color coded buttons. The cartridges will pop out.
- Get your new CompAndSave Lexmark S505 ink cartridge. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Insert the new ink cartridges into the correct slot until it snaps lock into place.
- Close the cartridge frame, then the printer’s scanner bed.
