How do I install HP Photosmart C4450 ink cartridge ?
- Turn on your printer. Open the cartridge access door.
- The ink cartridge's carriage will automatically move, so make sure to wait for it to completely stop moving before you proceed.
- Lightly press down on a cartridge to release it, then pull the cartridge out of its slot toward you.
- Get your new CompAndSave HP C4450 ink cartridge. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Insert the new HP Photosmart C4450 cartridge into the empty cartridge slot until it snaps into place, holding the cartridge with the HP logo on top.
- Close the cartridge access door.

- HP Photosmart C4450 printer uses the standard yield HP 74 and high yield HP 74XL black ink cartridges, standard yield HP 75 and high yield HP 75XL color ink cartridges, and the HP 99 photo color ink cartridge.
