- Open the front door.
- Open the cartridge access door, and then wait until the carriage stops moving.
- Press the front of the cartridge to release it, then remove it from the slot.
- Remove the new HP 923 ink cartridges from its packaging
- Insert each cartridge securely into the indicated slot. Make sure the color-coded letter on the cartridge matches that on the slot.
- Close the cartridge access door.
