How To Install HP LaserJet 1012 Toner Cartridges?
- Open the printer's toner access door.
- Grab the toner cartridge that needs to be replaced by its handle, then carefully pull it out from the printer.
- Get your new CompAndSave HP 1012 toner cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case of a powder leak as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the toner cartridges. Gently shake the toner cartridge and avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Carefully align and insert the new HP LaserJet 1012 cartridge replacement into the slot until it is firmly seated in place.
- Close the printer's toner access door.

This is as per MAGNUSON-MOSS WARRANTY IMPROVEMENT ACT, United States Code Annotated Title 15 Commerce Trade Chapter 50, Consumer Product Warranties 15 Sections 2302.
