How to install HP LaserJet 1010 toner cartridges?
- Open the printer’s top paper tray, then lift the cartridge access door.
- To remove the used toner cartridge, grab the handle on the toner cartridge and pull it out.

Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Gently rock the cartridge to distribute the toner evenly.
- Align the new HP LaserJet 1010 cartridge with the printer's tracks, then push it in until it is securely installed.
- Close the cartridge access door.
