Most Common HP Ink Tank 318 Ink Bottles Questions

What is the difference between inkjet and ink tank?
When it comes to functions and features, inkjet and ink tank printers are pretty much the same. The big difference between the two is the type of ink that they use. Inkjet printers use the customary type of ink cartridges that has a built-in printhead or chip. This type of ink needs to replace every time it runs out. The ink tank printer, on the other hand, has a built-in ink tank that just needs to be refilled using ink bottles when it runs out.
Do ink tank printers dry up?
Just like inkjet printers, ink tank printers also use liquid-based ink. This means that ink for ink tank printers also dry up, especially if the printer is not being used for a long time. This can result in some issues like a clogged nozzle. To avoid this issue, make it a habit to print even small documents on your printer or run some maintenance cleaning via the printer's setting to keep the nozzle moist.
