How do I install HP Z6100 Ink Cartridges on my printer?
- Select the Ink system icon on the printer's front panel, followed by Replace ink cartridges.
- Pull the blue tab in front of the cartridge that you want to remove.
- Lift the used cartridge out of the printer with the front panel displaying the ink cartridge missing.
- Get your new CompAndSave HP DesignJet Z6100 ink. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- For around 15 seconds, shake the cartridge well.
- Insert the new printer ink cartridge into the empty slot, then gently press up on the ink cartridge until it clicks and locks.
- The front-panel display shows that all cartridges have been inserted correctly.
HP Z6100 Ink Cartridges FAQs
- Can you use other ink cartridges in a HP printer?
- Yes, you can use other ink cartridges for your HP printer. Compatible, replacement, or remanufactured toner cartridges are designed to meet or exceed the OEM specifications. This means that you can get the same print quality and the number of prints without paying as much compared to the original ink cartridges. Our compatible, replacement, or remanufactured ink cartridges are also covered with a 1-year 100% satisfaction guarantee. CompAndSave offers replacement standard HP 91 ink cartridges in matte black, photo black, light gray, cyan, magenta, yellow, light cyan, and light magenta for your HP DesignJet Z6100 printer.
- Why are ink cartridges so expensive?
- OEM ink manufacturers claim that the high cost of ink cartridges is due to the research and development of technologies to deliver high-quality ink. However, it is worth noting that generic cartridges exceed OEM requirements while being less expensive than their counterparts. CompAndSave's compatible and replacement ink cartridges are engineered to meet or exceed OEM standards. You can have the same print quality and page output without spending a fortune. Please keep in mind that using generic, remanufactured, or replacement ink cartridges will never void the warranty on your printer. For additional information, please visit the Ink Knowledge Base.
