How to install HP Designjet T1100 ink cartridges?
- Turn on the front panel and wait for the prompt to select the language of the printer.
- The printer checks for the presence of ink cartridges.
- Open the cover on the left-hand side of the printer.
- Get your new CompAndSave HP T1100 ink cartridge. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Insert the ink cartridges one by one into its designated color slot.
- Push the cartridge in the slot until it locks into place.
- When the ink system is ready, the front panel will prompt you to open the window.
