How do I install HP 5500 UV Ink on my printer?
- Make sure the printer is powered on.
- Press the key ENTER. A message on the front panel is shown to install the ink cartridges.
- Remove the used or empty ink cartridge by pushing it upward and inward, then pull.
- Get your new CompAndSave HP DesignJet 5500 UV ink. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Insert the new printer ink cartridge into the slot and press firmly until it locks in.
- The front panel shows a message indicating that the cartridges have been successfully fitted and a prompt to hit the ENTER key.
- Press ENTER key to finish the ink replacement.
