How do I install HP Color LaserJet CM4540 toner cartridges on my printer?
- Open the front cover.
- Grab the toner collection unit's top and take it away from the machine.
- Place the attached cap over the opening at the top of the unit.
- Get your new CompAndSave HP CM4540 toner cartridge. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case of powder leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the toner cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
