How do I change the toner cartridge in my HP Color LaserJet 3550?
- Pull the front door down by lifting the handle.
- Remove the printer's used toner cartridge.
- Get your new CompAndSave HP 3550 toner cartridge. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the toner cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Grasp both sides of the print cartridge and gently move it from side to side to spread the toner.
- Align the new HP LaserJet 3550 toner with the tracks within the printer and insert the cartridge until it is securely seated, using the handle.
- Close the front door firmly.
