HP 659A Cartridges Replacement Guide

  1. Open the printer's front door.
  2. Grab the toner cartridge that needs to be replaced by its handle, then carefully pull it out from the printer.
  3. Get your new CompAndSave HP toner cartridge 659A. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Shake the toner five to six times and avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  4. Carefully align and insert the new toner cartridge into its respective slot until it is firmly seated in place.
  5. Close the printer's front door.

HP 659A Cartridges FAQs

Can you use generic toner in HP laser printer?
Absolutely! CompAndSave's replacement, remanufactured or compatible toner cartridges are designed to meet or exceed the OEM specifications. This means that you can get the same print quality and the number of prints without paying as much compared to the original toner cartridges. Using these types of cartridges will not void your printer's warranty. To know more about these types of cartridges, click ink knowledge base, and you will be redirected to the right page.
Why is HP toner so expensive?
OEM ink and toner manufacturers claim that the high cost of cartridges is due to the research and development of technologies to deliver high-quality ink. However, it is worth noting that there are generic cartridges that exceed OEM requirements while being less expensive than their counterparts. CompAndSave's compatible and replacement ink cartridges are engineered to meet or exceed OEM standards. That is to say, you can have the same print quality and page output without spending a fortune. Please keep in mind that using generic, remanufactured, or replacement cartridges will never void the warranty on your printer. For additional information, please visit ink knowledge base, and you will be redirected to the right page.
Can I throw away empty toner cartridges?
About 1.3 billion cartridges are used every year. That is why it is highly preferred that toner and ink cartridges are recycled than letting them end up in landfills. You can bring your empty toner to local or big retailers or even to your local recycling facility. You can also check some websites online, like earth911.com, to look for recycling options for your cartridges.
