Many printers come without a USB cable for one or two reasons:
- The purchased USB printer may be a replacement for an old USB printer. The manufacturer might choose not to include a USB cable under the assumption that the buyer may still have the old printer's USB cable.
- Another reason, printer manufacturers may choose not to include a USB cable in the printer purchase so that it can be bought separately. The advantage to this one is that you can choose affordable quality USB cables.
