How to refill ink tank using Epson ET-16500 ink bottles?
- Put a paper or plastic under the EcoTank Unit in case of an ink spatter.
- Make sure that the printer is turned on.
- If you see a message on your printer asking you to reset ink levels, just press 'OK'. If you are going to refill the ink tank without the reset ink level message, just go to 'Setup', then 'Maintenance', followed by 'Reset Ink Levels', and just follow the on-screen instructions.
- Open the ink tank cover and cap of the tank that needs to be refilled.
- Get your new CompAndSave Epson 16500 ink bottle, open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case it leaks as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges.
- Carefully align and insert the Epson 16500 ink bottle to the ink tank inlet that needs to be refilled. Wait until it reaches the line which means that the tank is adequately refilled.
- Close the cap and ink tank lid. Press the 'Home' button, go to 'Setup', then 'Maintenance', followed by 'Reset Ink Levels', and lastly press 'Proceed' to choose the ink tank that you refilled. Repeat same step for each ink tank you refilled.
