How to Install Epson XP-630 Ink Cartridges?
- Make sure that the printer is turned on.
- If you are replacing a low ink cartridge, just go to Setup, then go to Maintenance, followed by Ink Cartridge Replacement, press OK and Start.
- Raise the scanner assembly. The ink cartridge's carriage will automatically move, so make sure to wait for it to completely stop moving before you proceed. Do not manually move the printhead or it may damage the printer.
- Press the tab at the end of the cartridge to release it, then pull the cartridge out from the printer.
- Get your new CompAndSave Epson XP-630 printer ink cartridge. Shake the ink cartridge if you are only replacing the black before opening it from the package, no need to shake if you are replacing photo black or the color cartridges. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Insert the new Epson Expression XP-630 ink cartridge to its respective slot, push it until it snaps lock into place.
- Close the scanner assembly and press Start to start the ink charging process. Let this run until it is done to avoid wasting ink.

Go to the main tab and then select Quality Option, followed by selecting Plain Papers or Envelope for the type setting. After this, put a check in Grayscale option and press OK.
