Epson ET-3600 Ink Refill Guide
- Put a paper or plastic under the EcoTank unit in case of an ink spatter.
- Make sure that the printer is turned on.
- If you see a message on your printer asking you to reset ink levels, just press 'OK'. If you are going to refill the ink tank without the reset ink level message, just go to 'Setup', then 'Maintenance', followed by 'Reset Ink Levels', and lastly press the 'Start' button.
- Open the ink tank cover and cap of the tank that needs to be refilled.
- Get your new CompAndSave Epson 3600 ink bottle, open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink bottles.
- Carefully align and insert the Epson 3600 printer ink bottle to the ink tank inlet that needs to be refilled. Wait until it reaches the line which means that the tank is adequately refilled.
- Close the cap and ink tank lid. Press the 'OK' button twice and choose the ink tank that you refilled then press 'OK'. Repeat same step for each ink tank you refilled.

What ink does the Epson ET-3600 use?
Epson Expression ET-3600 printer uses the Epson 774 for the black and Epson 664 ink bottles for cyan, magenta and yellow. Are EcoTanks worth it?
If you print a lot on a daily basis, EcoTank printer is a great option for you. This type of printer does not use the customary ink cartridge that most printers use. It has a built-in ink tank that you can just refill if needed. You can easily check and see if you are running low on ink. This is also a cost-efficient printer as one bottle of 140ml black ink cartridge can print for about 6000 pages. EcoTank printers also produce great quality printouts, excellent for printing regular documents, photos and even for sublimation T-shirt printing.
Does Epson EcoTank ink dry out?
If you don't use your printer on a regular basis, this may cause the ink to dry out. Dry ink can cause issues such as clogged nozzles, smudges in print, etc. To avoid this, make it a habit to print at least once a week using your EcoTank printer, or you may run the maintenance cleaning to keep the tank and the nozzle moist.
