Epson ET-8550 Ink Refill Guide
- Make sure the printer is turned on.
- Raise the scanner lid until it locks into place.
- Open the ink top cover of the tank that needs to refilled.
- Get your new CompAndSave Epson 8550 ink bottle and open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges. No need to shake the ink bottles.
- Carefully align and insert the ink bottle into the tank inlet that needs refilling. Let the ink bottle fill the tank on its own, and do not squeeze the bottle.
- Once the tank is adequately filled, remove and secure the ink tank bottle.
- Put the scanner lid back into place and go to 'Maintenance', followed by 'Fill Ink', then follow the instruction on how to reset the ink level to avoid any error.
