How to Install Epson T822 ink cartridges XL?
- Make sure that the printer is turned on.
- If you are replacing the ink cartridges before the depleted message on the printer. Press the 'Home' button, then 'Maintenance', followed by 'Ink Cartridge Replacement', and lastly press 'Start'.
- Raise the printer's scanner lid until it snaps lock into place.
- Do not manually move the printhead as this may damage the printer.
- Press the plastic tab at the end of the cartridge to release it then pull it out from the printer.
- Get your new CompAndSave Epson T822XL ink cartridge, shake it for about 5 to 6 times before opening it from the package. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case it leaks as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Insert the Epson T822XL ink cartridge to its respective slot, gently push it down until it snaps lock into place.
- Put the scanner lid back into place. The printer will automatically go through the ink charging process, let this run until it's done to avoid wasting ink.
