  1. Turn the printer on.
  2. Raise the scanner to have access to the cartridges. Make sure it is being kept open by the printer's support.
  3. The ink cartridge holder will move and will settle for replacement position.
  4. Push the tab to open the lids and release the old cartridges. Then pull the cartridges out of the machine.
  5. Get your new CompAndSave's Dell A920 ink cartridge, open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case it leaks as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges.
  6. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  7. Insert the new ink cartridge to its respective slot, then gently close the ink holder's cover until you hear a click indicating that it's locked.
  8. Release the scanner support then lower the printer's scanner to close.

Most Common Dell A920 Ink Cartridges Questions

What is the difference between remanufactured and compatible ink cartridges?
Remanufactured cartridges use some recycled parts during the manufacturing process. They're an Earth-friendly option that helps reduce e-waste from cartridges thrown out in the trash. While compatible cartridges on the other hand are not manufactured by the same company as the printer, but are still brand new and meet the specifications for quality of the original equipment manufacturer. They are often the more economical choice when compared to the price of an OEM cartridge.
How long can printer ink last?
The shelf life of an ink cartridge is roughly two years provided it is unopened and stored in the proper conditions. All ink cartridges eventually dry out and go bad. This is the time that they expire. When they do, they can no longer be used for printing since they no longer release ink. If you're looking for ink cartridges that are fresh from the factory every month, CompAndSave has a large selection of low-cost ink cartridges that will surely work with your printer. CompAndSave's cartridges and toners are also backed up with 1-year satisfaction guarantee.
