How to change Dell S2830dn toner cartridge on printer?

  1. At the right side of the machine is a button that you have to press to open the front cover.
  2. Locate the toner handle and use it to pull the cartridge out of the machine.
  3. Get your new CompAndSave Dell S2830dn toner cartridge. Gently shake the cartridge to evenly distribute the toner. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Make sure not to leave the printer open for more than 10 minutes to avoid exposing the imaging unit to direct light. Avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  4. Put the new toner cartridge in by aligning the rollers and the arrows. Push the toner cartridge until it clicks in place.
  5. Close the printer's cover.

Most Common Dell S2830dn Toner Cartridge Questions

Is it OK to use compatible toner cartridges?
The answer is yes. Remanufactured toner cartridges are designed to meet or exceed the OEM specifications. The size, amount of toner, and print quality are designed to be as good as the original toner cartridges. Aside from this, using remanufactured toner cartridges will never void the warranty of your printer. Why is OEM toner so expensive?
Manufacturers of OEM inks and toner cartridges claim that the reason for expensive toner cartridges is the research and development of technologies to provide quality toner. However, it is notable that there are generic cartridges that exceed OEM standards and not as expensive as their counterpart. CompAndSave's compatible and replacement toner cartridges are designed to meet or surpass OEM specifications. That is, you can achieve the same print quality and page yield without spending a lot of money. Please bear in mind that utilizing generic, remanufactured, or replacement cartridges will never void your printer warranty.
