How to change Dell E525w toner cartridge on printer?
- Make sure the printer is off.
- At the right side of the printer is the toner access door. Open it.
- Squeeze the cartridge's tab and gently pull it out of the printer to avoid spilling the toner.
- Get your new CompAndSave Dell E525w toner cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Put the new toner cartridge in by aligning it to the cartridge holder. Push the toner cartridge in until it clicks in place.
- Make sure not to leave the printer open for more than 10 minutes to avoid exposing the imaging unit to direct light.
