How to change Dell E515dw toner cartridge on printer?
- Turn the printer on.
- Open the printer's front door.
- Pull the toner and the drum unit out of the printer.
- Remove the toner cartridge out of the drum unit by pressing the lock lever.
- Get your new CompAndSave Dell E515dw toner cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Replace the new toner cartridge in the drum unit and press it down firmly until it latches into place.
- Gently slide the lever multiple times to clean the corona wire within the drum unit.
- Align the tab's arrow icon with the drum unit's arrow to return it to its previous place.
- Put the Dell E515dw toner assembly into the printer.
- Close the access door and do not turn the printer off then wait for the display to say Ready mode.
