How to change Canon MP730 ink cartridges on printer?
- Turn on the printer and press the button to open the printer access door.
- Wait until the printhead holder have reached the middle.
- Gently push the tab at the end of the ink cartridge to release it then pull the cartridge out from the printer.
- Get your new CompAndSave's Canon MP730 cartridge, open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case it leaks as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges.
- Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the orange plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Insert the new ink cartridge to its respective slot, then gently push it in until you hear a click indicating that it's locked in place.
- Ensure that ink cartridge is in the correct location according to its label.
- Close the printer access door then try to print a test page.
