Canon PIXMA TS305 Ink Cartridge Replacement Guide
- Make sure that the printer is turned on.
- Open the front cover of your printer to access the Canon PIXMA TS305 ink cartridges.
- The ink cartridges' carriage will move automatically. Wait for it to get to a complete stop before proceeding.
- To release the ink cartridge, gently push it down until it clicks.
- Get your new CompAndSave Canon TS305 ink cartridge, and open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Insert the new Canon TS305 ink cartridge into its respective slot in a slanting position. Once placed just gently push it in, and you should hear a click indicating that it's properly locked in place.
- Close the access door then try to print a test page.

Are all Canon ink cartridges compatible?
The short answer is no. Canon has different printer models, each or some have their own intended or designated ink cartridges. These ink cartridges have different size, appearance, and fittings. Installing the wrong ink cartridge into your printer can cause printing issues and might damage the printer. To know the model of ink cartridge designed for your printer, you may check the printer's manual, search the ink cartridge online, or check the last or existing ink cartridge installed in your printer. Is it OK to use non-Canon ink cartridges?
Using another brand of ink cartridges such as HP, Brother, or Epson into your Canon printer will not work. Aside from the fact that it will not fit, the chip sensor of these ink cartridges will not be recognized by your printer.
