How to change Canon Pixma MP180 ink cartridges on printer?
- Make sure the printer is turned on.
- Raise the scanning unit to have access to the cartridges. The cartridge carrier will move and settle for an ink replacement position.
- Release and remove the cartridge by pressing on the curved tab.
- Get your new CompAndSave's Canon MP180 ink cartridge. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes if it leaks as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges.
- Remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it. Make sure that you only touch the black plastic part.

- Insert the Canon 180 ink cartridge completely until it clicks into place.
- Lower the support and put the scanner back into place.
- Close the scanner, and the machine will start its preparatory operation. Let this process complete on its own.
