How do I change the ink cartridge in my Canon MG3222?
- Turn on your printer, then open the top cover.
- Open the paper output cover. The ink cartridge's carriage will automatically move, so make sure to wait for it to stop moving before you proceed completely.
- Press the ink cartridge lock lever down until it clicks, then remove the ink cartridge.
- Get your new CompAndSave Canon PIXMA MG3222 ink replacement cartridge. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Insert the new Canon printer MG3222 ink cartridge until it reaches the back of the holder. The color cartridge goes on the left, while the black cartridge goes on the right.
- Slide the ink cartridge lock lever up until it clicks into place.
- Close the paper output cover.
