How do I install Canon MG3140 ink cartridges on my printer?
- Turn on your printer. Pull back the output tray and output extension, then open the printer cover.
- The ink cartridge's carriage will automatically move, so make sure to wait for it to completely stop moving before you proceed.
- Remove the used cartridges by pushing it down until it clicks.
- Get your new CompAndSave Canon MG3140 cartridges. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks, as sometimes factories tend to overfill the ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Install the new cartridges in a slanting position. Press the cartridges until it snaps lock into place.
- Once the cartridges are installed, close the printer cover.
