Canon 230 231 Cartridges Replacement Guide
- Make sure the printer is turned on.
- Open the scanning unit/cover. This will move the print head holder to the replacement position.
- Remove the old ink cartridge to be replaced by pushing its corresponding tab to release it.
- Remove the new ink cartridge from the packaging. Remove the protective covering on the new ink cartridge.
- Insert the new ink cartridge into the print head front end first at a slant. Make sure the new ink cartridge inserted matches the label on the slot.
- Press the top of the new ink cartridge until it firmly snaps into place.
- Close the scanning unit/cover.
