- Printer should be turned on.
- Open the printer's scanner by lifting it. Do not touch the tubes or any inside part of the printer to avoid issues.
- Lift to open the ink cover of the tank that needs to be refilled.
- Get your new CompAndSave Canon GX6040 ink refill bottle, and open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case it leaks as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink bottles.
