Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE 617iFZ Toner Cartridges FAQs

Is generic toner as good as OEM?

Yes! CompAndSave's generic, compatible, replacement or remanufactured cartridges are designed to meet or even exceed the OEM specifications. This means that you can get the same quality and number of prints without paying as much compared to OEM cartridges. Our cartridges also come with a 1-year 100% satisfaction guarantee and using these types of cartridges will not void your printer's warranty.

What is the difference between original and compatible toner cartridges?

OEM or Original Equipment Manufactured cartridges are toner cartridges that are made by the same company that manufactured the printer. Compatible toner cartridges, on the other hand, are produced and filled by third-party companies. The parts used are brand new and are not recycled from OEM toner cartridges. The same procedure applies to compatible ink cartridges. Both provide the same quality of printouts but the compatibles may surpass the OEM and are sold at a much cheaper price.
