How to Install Canon C5030i Toner Cartridges?

  1. Make sure that the printer is turned on.
  2. Using the printer's control panel navigate and go to 'Settings', then 'Maintenance', followed by 'Replace Specified Toner'. After this, open the printer's front cover, then choose the toner cartridge that needs to be replaced. Wait for the toner cover to open automatically, then remove the toner from the printer.
  3. Get your new CompAndSave Canon imageRUNNER Advance C5030i toner cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color, as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  4. Insert the new toner cartridge into the slot until it clicks into place, then close the toner cover.
  5. Check for the confirmation on the printer's control panel and close the printer's front cover.

Canon C5030i Toner Cartridges FAQ's

Are cheap toner cartridges worth it?
Absolutely! These toner cartridges are not only manufactured for consumers to save money, but also they are designed to match the OEM specifications. This means that you can get the same print quality and the number of prints without paying as much compared to the original ones. Using these types of cartridges will not void your printer's warranty, so you can use and shop for these types of cartridges without any worries.
Why are toner cartridges so expensive?
OEM ink and toner manufacturers claim that the high cost of toner cartridges is due to the research and development of technologies to deliver high-quality ink and toner. However, it is worth noting that there are generic cartridges that exceed OEM requirements while being less expensive than their counterparts. CompAndSave's compatible and replacement ink and toner cartridges are engineered to meet or exceed OEM standards. That is to say; you can have the same print quality and page output without spending a fortune. Please keep in mind that using generic, remanufactured, or replacement cartridges will never void the warranty on your printer.
