How to Install Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C3525i III Toner Cartridges?
- Make sure that the printer is turned on. The printer's display will show you which toner needs replacement.
- Open the printer's front cover. Then carefully pull the toner cartridge that needs to be replaced out of the printer.
- Get your new CompAndSave Canon C3525i III toner cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Gently shake the toner cartridge in a vertical position and avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color, as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Carefully align and insert the new toner cartridge into its respective slot until it is firmly seated in place.
- Close the printer's front cover.

- Does toner last longer than ink?
- In terms of longevity, toners are designed to last longer than regular ink. Since toners are designed for laser printers which can produce more images and prints compared to inkjet type of printers. Usually, toner also has a longer shelf life than regular ink since they are powder based and do not dry out.
- Do laser toners dry out?
- Toner cartridges are powder-based and not liquid-based. This means that they do not dry out as the powder inside is already dry. But if a toner cartridge was not used for a long time, there's a possibility that the toner powder is not evenly distributed inside. This can cause uneven prints and smudges.
