How to Install Canon imageRUNNER 2800 Toner Cartridge?

  1. Open the printer's front cover.
  2. Unlock the toner box by pulling the blue lever down.
  3. Grab the handle on the toner box then carefully pull it until it stops.
  4. Get your new CompAndSave Canon 2800 toner cartridge, open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Shake the toner cartridge for about five to six times, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  5. Put the Canon IR 2800 toner cartridge on top of the toner box, push it all the way in until it stops. Gently push the toner cartridge down until it locks to the toner box.
  6. Carefully the cartridge knob until you see the stop sign.
  7. Give the toner cartridge a little tap to empty all the toner powder inside the toner cartridge.
  8. Put the cartridge know back to its original position, then remove the toner cartridge on top of the toner box.
  9. Put the toner cartridge back to its original position then lock the toner box by pulling the blue lever up.
  10. Close the printer's front cover.
