How do I install Brother MFC-J995DW XL ink cartridges on my printer?
- Turn your printer on, then open the ink cartridge cover.
- Get your new CompAndSave Brother MFC-J995DW printer ink. Open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill the ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color along with the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Gently shake the black ink cartridge horizontally up to 15 times.
- Insert the black ink cartridge in the appropriate slot. Check that the ink cartridge matches the color of the slot.
- To install the ink cartridge, press "PUSH" until it clicks into place. Insert the color ink cartridges into their respective slots.
- Put the ink cartridge cover back on. The cleaning process begins and lasts around seven minutes. Do not turn the machine off or unplug it.
- Click "OK" to print the quality check sheet when the cleaning is complete.
