How to change Brother MFC-J625DW ink cartridges on printer?
- Open the ink access door.
- Press the tab for the cartridge that needs replacement and take the cartridge out of the machine.
- Get your new CompAndSave Brother J625DW ink cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of an ink leak, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill cartridges. Remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color and the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it. Make sure that you only touch the black plastic part.

- If you install ink too rapidly or if the cartridge is broken or damaged, the "Cannot Detect" warning will appear on the Brother control panel display. Please also double-check that the ink cartridges are correctly positioned. To resolve this issue, open the printer's ink access cover and push the lock lever to remove all cartridges. Once removed, carefully installed the ink cartridges one by one and make sure to install them to their respective slot. If a message prompt on your printer screen asking you if you change the black, or any of the colored cartridges, select "Yes".
