How Do I Install Brother MFC-9970CDW Toner Cartridges?
- Ensure that your printer is on.
- Open your printer's front cover.
- In order to remove the drum unit from your printer, grab the green handle and pull until it stops.
- Holding the old toner's handle, press it a little bit in the direction of the printer to release it and then, pull it out.
- Then, look for the corona wire. Once found, push its latches to release its cover.
- Grasp the green tab and gently slide it from left to right several times. After this, close the cover of the corona wire.
- Get your new Brother toner cartridge and remove it from its packaging.
- Next, gently shake the toner cartridge back and forth for five to six times to evenly distribute the toner powder in it.
- Ensure to remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing your new Brother printer toner.
- Insert the new Brother 9970CDW toner cartridge to its appropriate slot in the drum unit until you hear it snap into place
- Insert the toner and drum unit assembly into the printer until it is firmly seated.
- Close the printer's front cover.
