How to Install Brother MFC-1810R Toner Cartridges?
- Open the printer's top cover.
- Carefully pull the drum unit assembly out from the printer.
- Push the lever to release the toner cartridge from the drum unit, this lever is usually in color blue. Once released remove the toner cartridge from the drum unit.
- Get your new CompAndSave Brother 1810R toner cartridge, open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Carefully align and insert the new Brother 1810R toner cartridge to the existing drum unit. Slide the green plastic tab for about 3 times and make sure to put it back to its original position.
- Insert the drum unit assembly back into the printer then close the printer's top cover.
