Brother HL-L3270CDW Toner Replacement Guide
- Make sure that the printer is turned on.
- Open the printer's top cover until it clicks into palce.
- Carefully pull the drum and toner assembly for the color that needs to be replaced.
- Remove the toner from the drum unit by pushing down the green lock lever.
- Get your new Brother 3270 toner cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case of a powder leak, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color, as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Insert the new Brother toner HL-L3270CDW into the drum unit and gently push it in until it clicks into place.
- Slide the green tab at the top part of the drum unit to clean the corona wires.
- Insert the drum and toner assembly into its respective slot in the printer.
- Close the printer's top cover.
